About

My name is Kevin and I have been a proud member of the Steelers Nation since January 28th, 1996. This was the date of Super Bowl XXX where the Dallas Cowboys beat my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 27-17. Even though my team lost, my infatuation with them started during that game. The 10 year old version of me took this loss hard, but not as hard as my Uncle Joey. My Uncle is the reason for my fandom. He grew up during the golden age of the Steel Curtain and a plethora of Super Bowl championships for the Burgh. His passion for the team was passed down to me during our times spent together yelling at the referees through the television on game day. We both were upset by that Super Bowl loss in ’96 and I even witnessed my Uncle Joey perform his yearly ritual of throwing that year’s Steelers hat into his fireplace once the season had concluded. But the Pittsburgh Steelers have continued to remain perennial contenders in the NFL and my love for the team has increased along with the years. I’d like to use this blog as a forum for my personal weekly game reactions, roster moves, front office changes, and any other news and information related to the greatest team in the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

  2. Hey Kevin,
I think you did a great job on your blog. I can tell right away that you have a real love for this sport and the team. I enjoyed all your different pages that you have added. It was nice because you didn’t stick with the basic three pages that we were assigned to do. You thought outside the box and added additional clever pages. Good job! Keep up the good work.
